Danny worked with the Australasian Neurogastroenterology scientific association (ANGMA) over a twelve month period to deliver their international conference (FNM2020) in a unique hybrid (live + online) format.
Despite the challenges of the Covid pandemic, the online conference enabled over 600 scientists and medical clinicians from across the world the ability to present and review the latest cutting edge research online.
The FNM Virtual Conference Portal features over 400 unique, pre-recorded scientific video and poster presentations. The site was published in April 2021, and will remain active for two years, enabling conference registrants the ability to review conference content for a prolonged period of time.

Danny oversaw the design, development and project management of the online conference over a 12 month period, working with the conference team to create a bespoke web solution accessible on mobile, tablet and desktop devices.

As well as creating and managing the website content, Danny also liaised with each of the 400 presenters, providing instructions, collating, editing, reformatting and publishing the presentations. Danny also worked with sponsors to ensure they were suitably represented across the website.

Danny also managed the online conference registrant communications, providing access instructions, login and password links, and working in IT support for site users requiring special assistance.

Adelaide-based conference registrants were also able to attend the conference in-person at the Adelaide Convention Centre. During this time, Danny assisted with photography and social media management to help online conference registrants stay connected.
